Horizon High School Tricky Tray Raises over $25,000

Horizon High School welcomed more than 270 guests to their tricky tray on Saturday night. Guests perused close to 300 prize baskets and enjoyed dinner, drinks and socializing while helping the school to raise more than $25,000. The funds raised will support the construction of a new accessible fitness park behind the high school. Thank you to Ann Marie Micchelli for her leadership and hard work , as well as Natasha McCall, and all the families and staff from the high school who gave so much of their time and effort to make the event a success. And thank you to all of the generous individuals and companies for your donations.

Dr. Seuss Breakfast

Horizon School’s volunteer librarians were recently honored at a “Green Eggs and Ham” breakfast to celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday. Gene Fox, Susan Moore, Divvya Prasad and Carole Rella volunteer regularly and without their dedication our students would not have a beautiful library to enjoy on a daily basis. The volunteers were presented with their own mini truffula tree with a quote from The Lorax befitting their commitment to CPNJ- “Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, Nothing is going to get better. It’s not.”
