CPNJ is committed to providing our employees with training opportunities for personal development and career advancement. Our goal is to help our staff develop their skills to be prepared to take on new challenges within the organization.
Newly hired employees participate in our comprehensive New Employee Orientation program where they learn about CPNJ’s work environment, policies and procedures and benefits, giving them a strong foundation as they start our career with us.
CPNJ encourages our employees to participate in a wide variety of in-service training, agency-wide workshops and off-site courses to further hone their expertise. These opportunities are intended to develop and/or enhance the skills needed to deliver high quality services and enhance performance.
In an effort to enhance the skills and knowledge of its staff, CPNJ offers a college tuition and continuing education assistance program to full time employees after a year of employment for work-related courses at a recognized college or university, and funding is also provided for job-related continuing education workshops, seminars, or conferences.
