Students from Hillside Elementary School in Livingston traveled to CPNJ’s Horizon Elementary School on Tuesday for a social and peer-to-peer activity day. Students from both schools worked together to create quilts, conduct dinosaur themed science experiments, compete in a modified baseball game and much more through several activity stations set up around the school’s campus! The day is part of a longstanding partnership known as the Hillside-Horizon Helping Hands program. Special thanks to our guests from Hillside Elementary School for sharing in a fantastic day with their friends at Horizon.
Employees of Citrin Cooperman volunteered at our Horizon Elementary School this week and created a range of fun Grease-themed activities for our students. Volunteers assisted students as they created decorative ice cream cones at a sensory station as well as built and raced muscle cars against fellow classmates. Some students even received luxurious manicures, complete with tall hair rollers, at the salon station. Special thanks to all of our friends at Citrin Cooperman for creating a fun-filled day for Horizon students!
