Miss Julia’s class is the #1 fan of Go Noodle, a singing group they listen to while doing their movement activities on floor mats! Each student is also designing his or her own 100 days of school calendar. Every day each student chooses an object – feather, sticker, crayon – to glue to their calendar. The students make their choices by grabbing or motioning with their hands or looking at the object that they want. Would you provide a holiday gift for one of these special children? Miss Dawn’s class of preschoolers loves to be taught through song; a favorite is a fun song about brushing teeth, a daily activity they are learning. This group also loves circle time, where they learn about the weather and watch their teacher bring out hats, umbrellas and other cool props. Miss Dawn is a certified yoga instructor for children, including those with disabilities, and she said her students are doing a wonderful job understanding and participating in yoga as she teachers them how to breathe, stretch, relax and visualize.
