Horizon School students often travel to Starlight Farms to engage in Hippotherapy, a form of therapy where therapists utilize the horse’s movement into the treatment. Today, Starlight Farms brought their horses to Horizon! Students worked on their head and trunk control, sensory input, balance, and communication skills.
On September 24th, CPNJ’s ATLAS team invited family members of Horizon School students to come and learn about their child’s use of iPad technology at school. Families were provided information about iPad apps, accessories and device settings. Families then joined their child working with their treating occupational or speech-language therapist to see the iPad in action! Everyone had a lot of fun and learned so much about our students’ abilities and use of iPad technology
