Members of Madison High School’s Peer Group Connection volunteered at the Horizon School on May 30, as part of Madison High School’s Service Day. The Madison volunteers helped host a fun, outdoor sensory playtime for the Horizon students. They helped the students make exploding paint bags, play in alphabet soup, explore rainbow-colored pasta, and more. At the high school, the MHS girls’ basketball team led a skills and drills clinic for the Horizon High School basketball team and its new recruits. They wrapped up their day with an exhibition game with the whole school cheering Horizon on to victory! A big thanks to the Madison students and their advisors for a truly great event.
To build relationships with other managers and work better as a team CPNJ management held it’s first Management Team Retreat On Thursday, May 22nd at Hanover Manor. The facilitators from Impact 4 Good/Team Unity led the managers through a bike build where they competed in a series of activities (solving equations, soccer, building the tallest tower, etc.) that culminated in building adaptive bikes that will be donated back to our programs!
