CPNJ President and CEO Jim McCreath (left) visited Hillside Elementary School in Livingston to congratulate Principal Carlos Gramata on the school’s Helping Hands program being named a promising practice by the Washington D.C.-based Character Education Partnership. The program is a partnership between Hillside and CPNJ’s Horizon School designed to foster a greater understanding of children with disabilities. The program was developed by Lisa Diorio (pictured), who works at Horizon School and whose children attend Hillside.
