REACH group members were visited recently by teens from the Partnership for Jewish Learning and Life’s Mitzvah Mania program. We split into teams and played a few games with some friendly competition! Thanks so much to the teens for this very fun visit.
Seton Hall University’s Division of Volunteer Efforts began sending weekly volunteers to support the Horizon School library’s Modern Mother Goose program. Each week a new nursery rhyme or fairy tale is introduced to the preschool class. Volunteers helped the students to make Old King Cole crowns. We also heard the story of Jack and the Beanstalk. When the preschoolers planted their magic beans the beanstalk grew right before their eyes!
