Stephen, a student at our Horizon High School, tried out a scooter adapted specifically for him by staff at the school. Stephen not only did a wonderful job pushing himself up and down the hall as part of his therapy, but also enjoyed the excited cheering from his personal assistant, therapists and his principal Mr. Chris!!
Golda Och Academy visited our special needs Horizon School today as part of High School community service day. Students from both schools took part in a host of activities. Students from Golda Och robotics club worked with Horizon Student Mark on adapting a remote control stuffed animal to be controlled by Mark. They had a lot of fun together and we are very thankful for their visit!
