Volunteers Michael Giannone, Michele Giannone, and Michael Begley visit horizon school dressed like cat and the hat characters

On Friday, February 27th, volunteers Michael Giannone, Michele Giannone, and Michael Begley came to Horizon School dressed as characters from the popular Dr. Seuss book “The Cat in the Hat” . They traveled classroom to classroom meeting all the students at Horizon School.
To honor the memory of their daughter Gabriella , Michelle and Michael Giannone volunteer with their close friend Michael Begley at a variety of children hospitals and schools. Their daughter was a student at Horizon, so they always stop by our school. We are very grateful for their generosity, and every year the students love to see them!

read across america at horizon school

Over 40 readers volunteered at CPNJ’s Horizon School Read Across America event. Each volunteer paired with a student and read them some of their favorite stories. We would like to give a big Thank You to all the volunteers who came out and helped make this event so successful!
