Hillside School and CPNJ’s Horizon Elementary School had their annual art appreciation project on Wednesday, June 3rd at Hillside School in Livingston. The 5th grade class from Hillside and 3 classes from Horizon worked together to create art inspired by the famous Russian painter Wassily Kandinsky. The project is part of the Hillside Horizon Helping Hands program. A partnership between the two schools to promote disability awareness. CPNJ’s Horizon Elementary School is located in Livingston and serves 65 students with multiple disabilities.”
Deloitte Volunteers turned the vision room into an ancient “cave” by covering the walls with cave paintings created by the students. Students explored the cave with flashlights to the sound of Native American drums. We would like to thank CPNJ board member, Christine Kotarba for our ongoing partnership with Deloitte!
