Wells Fargo awarded a grant of $10,000 to CPNJ to support the new therapeutic fitness park at their Horizon High School in Livingston, New Jersey. The agency has raised more than $200,000 for the project and construction will begin in mid-September. The 4,200 square-foot park, located directly behind the school on Okner Parkway, is designed to allow students to enjoy the joy and freedom of outdoor exercise while advancing their individual therapeutic goals. It will feature an array of equipment, including a log roll, spring platform, stationary cycler and wheelchair swing. Safety features include rubberized surfacing throughout the park and a six-foot safety fencing enclosing the entire area.
CPNJ’s CEO Jim McCreath and public information officer Carole Ammann accepted the donation from Wells Fargo from Senior Vice President Ivon Creagh and Vice President Tomas Porturas .
